Juxtaposition of Relativity

My teacher earns good money. She can afford the basics and more. She has enough to satisfy her needs and wants. She can travel, is bright, well respected, and scholarly. Had a good education, knows a lot, and has an extremely long vacation during summer.

Then there is the fisherman I see at the beach. He has nothing, or barely something. Everyday he must wake up early to get the lobsters and the fish. If he doesn’t work for a day, he does not eat.

Who lives a happier life?

My teacher, who lives in a concrete jungle. Or the fisherman, who is always surrounded by the sound of the sea and can everyday enjoy the shade and breeze of a coconut tree?
